The Nokia AZNA 473914A is a modern remote radio head (RRH/RRU) designed as part of the Nokia AirScale Radio Access portfolio to support the evolving needs of multi-standard mobile networks. Operating in designated mid-band frequencies such as 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, or 2600 MHz (depending on market variant), the AZNA provides operators with a highly flexible solution to expand network capacity, enhance coverage, and ensure smooth evolution toward 5G NR.
Supporting LTE (4G) and 5G NR-ready features, with backward compatibility to WCDMA (3G) in some configurations, the AZNA is optimized for multi-standard operation. It typically employs a 2T2R MIMO configuration, delivering robust coverage, reliable performance, and efficient spectrum utilization. With high output power per port, it enables operators to achieve strong service continuity, while advanced LTE features such as carrier aggregation and higher-order modulation further improve capacity and user experience.
