The Cisco XENPAK-10GB-LR+ is a high-performance XENPAK optical transceiver designed for extended long-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Supporting the 10GBASE-LR+ standard, it operates at a data rate of 10 Gb/s and provides a transmission reach of up to 20 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). The module uses a 1310 nm wavelength and features an SC duplex optical connector. It includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support, enabling real-time parameter monitoring such as optical power, temperature, and voltage for improved network reliability. Ideal for service provider backbones, metro Ethernet, and enterprise optical networks, it delivers stable, high-capacity connectivity over long distances.
