The Ericsson Radio 2219 B8 is a high-performance remote radio unit (RRU) engineered for deployment in modern multi-standard mobile networks. Operating in the 900 MHz frequency range (Band 8), it supports GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR technologies, enabling operators to efficiently modernize and expand existing coverage. The unit features a 2T2R MIMO configuration, delivering two transmit and two receive channels for enhanced spectral efficiency and data throughput. Each transmit port provides an output power of up to 40 W, ensuring wide-area coverage, stable signal strength, and excellent network reliability.

Powered by a –48 V DC power supply, the Radio 2219 B8 offers energy-efficient performance and supports outdoor installation with a rugged, IP66-rated enclosure. Its compact, lightweight design simplifies mounting on poles, walls, or towers, reducing installation and maintenance costs. The unit employs passive air cooling, ensuring silent, maintenance-free operation and improved long-term reliability.
